Invitation to join our Introductory Class
The Clyde Cruising Club is reaching out to local clubs and marinas to promote our “Experience Racing” program at Scottish Series 2024. We understand that it can be daunting to enter an event like Scottish Series for the first time. We want to help skippers take the first step so that you, and your crew, can experience the thrill and social of a yacht racing regatta.
The Entry Fee will Include;
- Pre-Event Familiarisation
- Assistance obtaining a Handicap
- Assistance with Insurance Requirements
- Guidance on Safety Equipment
- Pre-Event Racing Tuition
- Membership of the CCC
- Dedicated starting area
- Full inclusion in the event actvities
- You’ll be with like sailors!
What we need from you;
- A yacht with Main & Genoa/Jib
- Sufficient Crew to sail
- CYCA Handicap between 26 and 16
- Racing Insurance & Safety Equipment
- Attendance at 2 Pre event meetings
