Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Scotland’s rugged coastline and picturesque landscapes, SS25 is destined to be a sailor’s paradise. So, trim your sails, chart your course, and join us for an epic adventure.

A Rich Tradition

The Scottish Series has been a fixture in the sailing calendar for five decades. Established in 1975, this regatta has consistently drawn sailors from around the UK to compete in the mesmerizing waters of the West Coast of Scotland. The Covid pandemic dampened the opportunity, but the CCC has been building the event back up and promises further innovation both on the water and shoreside! This will be a must-attend event for both seasoned racers and newcomers alike and we invite you to include the dates in your 2025 program.

Dates and Location

Dates and Location SS25 will take place from May 23rd to May 26th, offering four days of exhilarating racing. The event will be hosted in Tarbert, the picturesque fishing village nestled on the west coast of Loch Fyne. Tarbert is not only a sheltered harbour, but also a natural auditorium, known for its beauty and warm hospitality. It provides the perfect setting for sailors and spectators to come together and share their passion for the sea.

A Sailing Spectacle

One of the highlights of SS25 will be the diverse range of classes and boats competing in various categories. There will be three fleets covering IRC, One Design and CYCA
racing. To overcome the difficulty of setting courses in the deep water of Loch Fyne the event will again be deploying robotic marks to ensure intensive windward/leeward or trapezoidal racing and fast turnaround for IRC and One Design competitors. In CYCA we will be looking to vary the course types using a mix of Robotic and set marks.
